It’s global jihad...just the other day I was reading about explosives up some guy’s buttocks going off...but that’s not new technology really, either.
Then of course there are liquid (chemical bombs)...so, you’re right Doe Eyes, the jihadis (as well as other non-jihadi terrorists) could use other types of explosives.
