... and nothing has happened for three years. Anyone call these guys on the claims?
The Bush Administration announced to the public that it had stopped many terrorist attacks but they would not release the details of their interception and/or the nature of the attacks. However, they said they were serious terrorist attacks that they stopped.
It's feasible that this is one of them that they did stop -- but the government will not be telling us and we'll never know. What we do know, is that the government has stopped many serious terrorist attacks.
Now..., in addition to the Bush Administration saying that they had stopped a certain number of these serious terrorist attacks, they also said they would not be able to stop them all, and that it is a certainty that a serious and major attack (on the level of a 9/11 style of attack) will happen.
Ah, got me there. All these claims of insider knowledge made me forget for a moment that there ARE those with insider knowledge, and who are doing the job right without the results going public. Sometimes hard to not conflate those who know and do with those who don’t know and are trying to remove all doubt.
