Her album, "I Dreamed a Dream" is not due out until November 24, but it is No. 1 on Amazon's Bestselling Music List, outdoing albums already released.

Whitney Houston still makes records? Does anyone actually buy them?

I bought Paul Potts first album. He was the winner of the show last year. The guy with the big gap in his teeth with the incredible voice (for an amateur).

The album was "OK". It was OBVIOUS that it was a rush production to capitalize on Potts' 15 minutes of fame.

I see he has another album out now. I haven't heard it, but I think I'll stick with Andrea Bocelli

Hey

She has a great voice. She was not ready for all the fame. I don’t care what her politics are, or how she looks, as an entertainer I only care how she sings. It is a CD after all. I wish her well along with Paul Potts. It is all about singing afterall.

She will be all over a TV near you in October and handle herself quite well and deservedly become very rich for her service. As Don King would say: “Only in America” God Bless Her!!

Yes! And that is as it should be. Talent rises to the top. Just like Paul Potts. Thanks

no, publicty rises to the top — not saying that she doesn’t sing well, but the sales are the result of the mega exposure on tv.

Well she does not have star quality on that account. She had a melt down cause she could not deal with the preasure. I just want to hear her sing. No politics involved like the Dixie Twits. LOL

Good for Susan Boyle. The world is tired of the last 6 years of hatred and vile vicious attacks.......

Dixie Twits

Boy, they dried up faster than a ice cube that was lying on the hot summer desert floor! I had a hard time remembering their real name!

May she never learn pretense.

Recording of the song without all the interruptions by applause. I like it a lot.

She has the “it”, whatever “it” is. She may disappear soon, but she got a well-deserved more than 15 minutes of fame. Good for her. Better Susan Boyle than the next Britney or Madonna or Kardashian girl...whatever....they’re all the same...but Susan wasn’t. I admire her for that.

Amen to that!

Her talent is pure and uplifting regardless of her physical appearance.

Kate Smith was blessed with a good voice too. She didn’t let derision about her physical appearance, from some, keep her from sharing her talent with an appreciative world.

Susan Boyle is more attractive is some ways than others who are lauded for their “talent” because of their physical attractiveness. It’s a small-minded person who would be so focused on her less than beautiful body that they can’t appreciate her beautiful singing voice, imo.

Judging from the pre-release sales a lot of people are looking forward to hearing her album. I am too.
