Hon. James David Manning says we must have a revolution in order to get back this nation.
Recorded on 3 Sept 2009.
The secession of Texas must be organized. Now.
One must approach revolutions with care. History has more Stalins and Robespieres and George Washingtons.
We will have a revolution at the ballot box in 2010 and then another in 2012.
The revolution must be to throw them all out....Dem, Repub, everyone.
Let’s get fresh blood in who understand voters will not keep sending you back to bring home pork.
Oops. I meant to say:
One must approach revolutions with care. History has more Stalins and Robespieres THAN George Washingtons.
You guys in Texas can’t leave the rest of us!
There, fixed it. I am not sure keeping company with the Socialist dominated Yankee culture is a good thing. Maybe what's left of the South should go our seperate way, peacefully this time, or NOT.
From the looks of the passion on both sides, there will be no unification of this country.
Yup, ALL of them. My congresscritter is a Republican but he has not stood up and has not made his voice heard. He is “business as usual.” NOPE-—we need 100% percent change in Congress in 2010. The old argument of “need the experience” is actually an argument FOR voting out every incumbent because any experience in government is bad. (Too bad we can only get to 1/3 of the Senate in 2010.) Then, of course, we are stuck with the hundreds of thousands of incompetent and lazy government employees—at all levels—who feed at the public trough. That should be the next project.
We have a lot of work to do. Those who can, should run for elected office.
AND—vote out every incumbent at the state and local level, too. Voter-imposed term limits!
“From the looks of the passion on both sides, there will be no unification of this country.”
Sadly, it appears that is the case.
You say that like it is a bad thing.

Where will we draw the line?
When will we say enough??
What will finally provoke spontaneous direction action???
"Secession belongs to a different class of remedies. It is to be justified upon the basis that the States are Sovereign. There was a time when none denied it. I hope the time may come again, when a better comprehension of the theory of our Government, and the inalienable rights of the people of the States, will prevent any one from denying that each State is a Sovereign, and thus may reclaim the grants which it has made to any agent whomsoever."
"The principle for which we contend is bound to reassert itself, though it may be at another time and in another form."
-- Jefferson Davis, President CSA
I don’t think anybody has ever accurately predicted the tipping point when the boys gather on the green or the Bastille is stormed. But when it happens most folks recognize that something important has just occurred.
The nationwide response to the President’s speech to school kiddies is a significant milestone. It occurred in less than twenty-four hours and in all states. This is the best indication that I have seen that we have a movement, and that it has developed a robust communication system. We are learning the necessary skills to accomplish the task at hand. In most cities there were patriots who knew how to do press releases and get them distributed. There were patriots who could do thirty second TV news interviews and stay on message.
It has been an important and successful summer. In my humble opinion.
I believe Rev. Manning makes some excellent points here. Once in power, Leftist do not give way to “elections”, which have become elections in name only, not in reality given our last two election cycles. I think we’ll see where ‘10, and quite possibly ‘12, doesn’t do anything just as Rev. Manning states.
Middle America seems to be rising though and this is encouraging regardless.
Any time I see a group of people suffering from a mental disorder I think it is sad. That being said, they need medical intervention, not control of the federal govt ;)
that's the problem... what ever it is, will be ++UNgood.
AND, if the SHTF, the GOP would already be positioned to go that little bit further and say, "Here's how secession/10th Amendment movements can implement these ideas" and steer a future movement AWAY from Stalin or Robespierre.
But, instead, the GOP seems to banking on Michael Steele and John McCain.
No one wants to talk about it, but I think that’s what it’s going to take.
