I’m use to Gnome myself, but I do use PCLinux every now and then. I’m amazed there was that many bugs to find in the first place.

Not everything listed as a bug is actually a bug. In bug tracking software, everything is filed as a bug, even performance enhancements or improvements to already-functioning code. When it's marked as fixed, then it counts as a bugfix, even though it wasn't a bug in the first place.
On top of that, every piece of software in the world has an enormous amount of bugs, either existing in original code or added through regressions. Usually they don't impact performance, but are just glitches in the background that most people don't see. Regardless, they're there.

Oceans of bugs, seas of bugs, mountains of bugs, valleys of bugs, wide open plains of bugs, continents of bugs......... All my installed Linux versions use KDE 3.5 or that version of Linux just doesn't get installed.
