FLABBY fans have a fat chance of seeing their sports heroes grabbing gold at the London 2012 Olympics.
Games bosses have rejected a bid to make the seats bigger at the new £500million stadium in Stratford, east London
Instead, they plumped for standard seats meaning super-sized spectators will have to slim down if they expect to get a comfortable spot in the 80,000-capacity venue.
A source said: The rise in obesity in Britain led the powers that be to consider larger seats and more space between them.
Britons are the heaviest people in Europe, with almost three in ten considered obese."
