I’ve mistakenly posted a wrong title... it should read:

Brits have a sense of humor that’s entirely their own. When I lived there, I used to watch their sit-coms on occasion. I thought they were absurd and totally humorless.

In time, though, I picked up on enough of their cultural buttons that I began to see their viewpoint. It got so that some of their programs had me on the floor laughing.

When they upfront talked of goats, I thought this was going to be British Wal-Mart with special aisles for Moslems.
