That’s the former Miss Hissy Slashy to a T, except that she has blue eyes when she’s upset, but they turn blue-green when she’s happy.
Yes, she’s quite a beauty, thank you.
Orange girl kitties are notoriously imperious to their underling co-resident cats. I have an orange boy who is the sweetest cat ever, but my orange girl doesn’t take anything off of anybody. It’s her way or the highway.
Could she be perhaps, a Russian Blue?
> Its her way or the highway.
You got that right!
I’m from NJ, and in 1998 Allegra was $500. The new little Ragdoll is going to cost $750. You can’t put a price on love! (meow!)
It pays to research your breeder. Anyone who is looking for a Ragdoll through a breeder should, IMHO, have someone who rears the kitties in their home as part of the family. Insist on visiting the cattery and ask lots of questions! Make sure the house is clean and the cats are free from genetic abnormalities that affect the heart. You should feel comfortable with the breeder.
Chartreaux or Russian Blue.

“mutts, be they canine or feline are the best....’
I agree! Particularly those who have been dumped out in the middle of nowhere or have been taken in by rescue groups.
I looked around a bit and she looks like she might be a Korat. It looks like the Russian Blue and the Chartreaux have thicker coats.
HI ALLEGRA,
They are darling..even though I am a doggie person..Momma looks like a very good mommy...In this pic is she yawning or saying” Hey, back off from the babies !”?
Stay safe. Glad to hear you have furry persons to keep you company and on your toes!
Thank you for helping them! THey are VERY lucky kitties....I hope the mom gets a home too.
The mom’s getting fixed after the babies are weaned and going to Alaska with an ex-pat co-worker in December. Along with a kitten of the ex-pat’s choice. Co-worker’s husband has been warned and apparently is taking it quite well. :-D
Excellent!

cat “breeds” is sort of an ambiguous term
cats have differing heads, tails, color, hair length, ear wisps, and rarely squat legs but all are rather close in conformity compared to dogs
Tabbys are I guess the natural state of domestics is unengineered
that ain’t cats
they go by another feline nomenclature...lol
that shall be unmentioned here
(i know..they are lefties but still..cute is cute)
