I remember when I was in Brazil in 1985, Christmas Day 1985 to be exact. That time in Brazil was transitional time between Military rule and an emerging democracy. I remember walking the streets of Curitiba and seeing a policeman armed with a Rexim-Favor submachine with the bayonet.

I remember walking the streets of Curitiba and seeing a policeman armed with a Rexim-Favor submachine with the bayonet. That doesn't surprise me.
I guess that Rexim-Favor is not the Portugese version of Por Favor. ;-)

I remember walking the streets of Curitiba and seeing a policeman armed with a Rexim-Favor submachine with the bayonet. It's not that unusual outside the US. I remember being in Rome airport in the 70's, looking up, and seeing a policeman with a submachinegun up on an overhead catwalk.
