My husband channel surfs through the commercials so I miss most of them.
Well have you seen the “STAPLES” commercial with the kid playing with a labeler? The mom has one of those “easy” buttons?
In the background, on the wall of the kids room, is a very communist looking poster with the date “MAY 1ST” in very bold letters at the bottom.
I’ll keep an eye out for it.
Marketing to the Obama Generation. That’s also purpose of Zero’s address to the schools Tuesday.
If so count me out of the Boycott Windex threads that may ensue.
I buy what ever is on sale/cheapest with coupon and double coupon.
Except for scrubbing bubbles product, worthless foul smelling cleaner IMO.
Mr Clean is a good cheap product esp. if it is on the Market under the Mexican label.
I think it was the O.C. where one of the high school kids on the show had a Che poster hanging in their room. The producers of shows for teenagers and college kids have been doing stuff like this a long time. 90210 was the same way and became much more political in the final seasons. I remember them specifically attacking capitalism/business success, pushing environmentalism, pushing gay marriage and adoption and acceptance of the gay lifestyle (and labeling those with opposing views as bigots). They also pushed the idea of abortion as a acceptable alternative. Oh and I cannot forget the episode where Brandone gets stranded in a town of white hicks who got their kicks picking on the only black girl in town. It became unwatchable (and I wasn’t even very political at the time).
Looks like a Bob Marley poster to me.
I don’t think it’s Che. Looks more like some rocker to me.
That’s not Che, that’s Rob Zombie who is the most respected and loved horror movie flick guy in teenage worship.
