But is this supposed to be an original BC from way back when... or a recently generated copy of a BC, like Zero’s 2007 copy of his COLB is supposed to be.

If it’s a new doc created from the original info, there should be no problem with the uniformity and the modern look.

I don’t have a firm opinion one way or the other, but I sure would like to have the truth revealed before I’m old and gray.

As I look at it again, I see that it actually does look like a typewritten form. I note the top curves of the first typed row are faded as if the paper were not rolled flat against the platen as you would find on an actual typewritten page. Also, some of the numbers such as the seven are larger as many old manual type styles were. Another distinguishment is that some of the closed letters appear to have the centers smudged, also exactly as a real typed form would have, with excess ribbon ink buildup.
