The best thing is to keep the kids home from school on Comrade Obama Day. Government schools receive reimbursement from the federal government based on average daily attendance. Keep the kids home and you will be hitting government schools in the pocketbook.

A former White House aide to President Bill Clinton

He is editor of The Daily Voice, a CNBC contributor and a co-host of the BET TV talk show My Two Cents.

Boykin spent a year and a half working for Michael Dukakis' presidential campaign and then entered Harvard Law School, where he was a leader in the campus diversity movement and general editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. He received his J.D. from Harvard in 1992 and then joined the Clinton/Gore Campaign in Little Rock, Arkansas. After Clinton's election, Boykin became a Special Assistant to the President and Director of Specialty Media. Once the highest-ranking openly gay person in the Clinton White House, Boykin helped organize and participated in the nation's first meeting between gay and lesbian leaders and a U.S. President.

How about they read the Constitution of the US and have a discussion of Article II, Section 1, Clause 5.

"These kids don't vote. I don't understand why parents are concerned about health care related to kids hearing a speech from the President of the United States," Boykin said. "They're 17 years old. Some of them may be able to vote, but the idea the President of the United States is giving a speech to thousands and thousands, or millions of school kids from the potential of reaching a few 18 year olds doesn't seem likely. I meant this is about basically encouraging kids to stay in school. It's a worthy motive. The idea that anybody would be opposed to it is ultimately about politics and nothing else."

And this guy says the problem is a lack of common sense? Why aren't teachers allowed to have sex with 17 year olds? Could it be because they're young, impressionable and don't know themselves yet?

Why, wouldn't people like that make wonderful propaganda targets, especially if they'll be voting in the next election?

My kids are staying home. Actually, I think we're going to go down to the National Archives to see the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Declaration. Then we're going to swing over to the Holocaust Museum, to see what can happen when such ideals are perverted or ignored.

Damn NEA has been destroying American education for decades, and these idiots think adding Obama to the mess will undo the damage? That’s like trying to sober up a drunk with a fifth of whiskey.

"Why wouldn't schools want this to happen? That's why our kids are so dumb today, because they don't want to have basic common sense in the classroom."

Translation: "just a bunch of backwards, mouth breathing, inbred rednecks."

I’m convinced that 90% of MSNBCs viewers are only watching to keep the rest of us informed about their antics.

My wife called the superintendent’s office of my daughter’s school district to ask if they were going to have Kenyan brainwashing day, and if they were my daughter was staying home. The district was not sure if they were going to show it or not. They asked my wife why she was against the brainwashing and she gave them an earful. Basically “Stay away from kids”.
