One time when Hubby (then boyfriend) and I were eating brunch, the waiter missed my glass and poured champagne on the table while he was staring at me.
Now they miss my glass because they’re trying to avoid looking at me.
Sigh...
There is a difference between losing your mind and being momentarily distracted...the later happens to me all the time..;o)
GREAT story! It's so sweet when guys kind of lose it and fumble around pretty gals ... makes me love them all the more (I am a man-lovin' gal). One thing this study doesn't note, and I believe this applies no matter whether the female is pretty or not: if a woman is so distressed that she bursts in to tears, especially if the tears are genuine, it triggers the Hero in men and they will almost always offer help, begrudgingly often as not, and even if it inconveniences them. They say women are the tender-hearted, but I swear, I'm inclined to conclude that in their own way, good men posess hearts at least as tender -- it's just that they're not wired for nurturing, as we women are.
We women should always remember: Men are the sole protectors of women.
