You think this is really 50 years old, or just made to look that way? Were there freeway cloverleafs 50 years ago, and phrases, “class warfare” and “race hatred”? Maybe; I just don’t know.

If it’s not 50 years old I’d be surprised as the nuances are classic of that era.
As someone who grew up in Southern California in the 1950’s I know believe that this cartoon is absolutely authentic. As an aside, my beloved mother-in-law graduated from Harding College in the early 1930’s.
