Wasn’t there a movie about this? I think I remember seeing it... and if I dreamed it... then someone should make said movie so I can watch it. :)

I found the movie of the wave experiment on you tube video:

Since this month is the 70th year anniversary of Germany's Invasion of Poland, this would be a good time to review this movie. Peace.

Hmmm, I remember the after school special in the 70s (remember those? LOL) called, I believe, “The Blue Wave”, and it was the same thing as described here. The students became little brownshirts and some got violent. They even wore arm bands to distinguish themselves as the elite. In the end, the teacher tells them that they will get to meet their leader in the school auditorium, where the whole school will gather to hear him speak. They are all so very proud that they finally get to meet their leader.

A movie screen rolls down, and on it, an image of Hitler speaking to a massive crowd appears. The fascist little brats that were—just minutes before—arrogant pubescent brownshirts (OK, I think they were blue), were soon sobbing and most were horrified.

As far as After School Specials went, that one was pretty good. Obviously, it stuck with me.

Adolph had a "mandate" of the will of the people.

How could a couple of million Good German citizens be wrong?

Those that don't know history are doomed to fulfill Einsteins definition of insanity.

ObamaCare’s New Public Health Workforce Corps
The American Thinker ^ | March 16, 2010 | Michael Geer
Posted on March 16, 2010 2:57:41 PM PDT by givemELL

“It speaks of regular and reserve Officers, scholarships, loans, obligated service, individual contracts, training centers, the traditional income redistribution scheme of grants and grant proposals, etc. The debt repayment provisions are especially attractive to certain sectors of our population. It appears to be an indentured servitude gig. You sign up, do your part for nationalizing health care and the Corps will get the American taxpayer to foot the bill for your training and educational costs and retire your debts. Of course, if pinned down, I’m sure this will be characterized as a draft, a proposal, need to modify, hasn’t been reconciled yet or any of a number of ways to weasel the simple truth that until Nancy Pelosi votes on it she won’t have any idea what’s in this ‘Bill’.

Read more of this thing at your own discretion. The next heading after the Public Health Corps is Adapting The Workforce to Evolving Health Care Needs, which I take to mean, in the double speak legal jargon of phraseology and policyspeak, that you and your job skills will adapt to the needs of the Health Care Corps, not the other way around. We are living, after all, in the era Hunter S Thompson labeled as The Age of Confusion, Ruled By The New Dumb.”

“Obama Excludes Private and Catholic School Children From Easter Egg Roll Ticket Giveaway”
Wednesday, March 24, 2010
By Penny Starr, Senior Staff Writer

SNIPPET: “Robert Brannum’s 17-year-old son Nicholas attends St. John’s College High School, a Catholic school in the District. Brannum told CNSNews.com he believes the 3,000 tickets reserved for public school students should be available to all students.

“The White House is a public building,” Brannum said. “The tickets are essentially being paid for with public dollars. So it should be open to everyone, not just going to select categories of students.”

Brannum said he not only supports D.C. public schools, he attended and taught at those schools. But, he added, “There are students in the District of Columbia who attend private schools, parochial schools, or even (are) home schooled, and their parents pay taxes and they should be able to participate in some of the benefits of being citizens of the District of Columbia.””

SOBERING TO THE MAX.

However, FREEPERS are DIFFERENT.

NO ONE HEREON:

—tries to silence other CONSERVATIVES who may have more information about a given topic.

—tries to call other CONSERVATIVES insulting, intimidating, marginalizing names . . . e.g. nutty, crazy, psychotic,

—tries to silence watchmen on the wall regarding Communists/globalists/socialists rushing the planet into a tyrannical global government.

—tries to ridicule those who are averse to OThuga’s UNCONSTITUTIONAL tyranny that’s getting deeper and broader by the week.

. . .

naw . . .

. . .

NOT on FR!

We KNOW BETTER

and

ACT BETTER.

We’re very good at warning folks properly in mild and civil tones about slight to moderate threats to minor FREEDOMS around the edges of daily life. We know better than to alert folks about wild haired idiotic concerns about any so called major issues of life.

We work very hard to keep things decent, in order, balanced and reasonably pleasant. We don’t see any need for anyone to lose even 5 minutes of sleep at night.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Sorry for the double ping for those who are on both lists, but I though that those who homeschool and aren’t on the ARTH list ought to see this as well.
