A 33-year-old Lenexa man was arrested early this morning after his date got suspicious about his claims of being a police officer which he wasnt.
The woman called police about midnight Tuesday saying that she was on a date with the man, but got a gut feeling that something wasnt right. When she tried to end the date, they got into an argument and he threatened to arrest her if she didnt go to his home, she told police.
Police responded to the McDonalds restaurant at W. 87th Street and Mauer Road where the woman told them that she was in the early stages of a relationship with a man who was passing himself off as a police officer, said Sgt. Gary Graniewski.
The two were headed in separate cars to the mans house when something inside her told her something was wrong, Graniewski said. The woman decided to pull into the McDonalds parking lot.

"What gave me away...?"
Did, “Hey, lets just meet at McDonalds”, not raise any red flags for her?? Early stages of a relationship? I think early stages of a a hookup.
I’m sorry but smart women don’t do this. I am thinking of the least intelligent women I know and none of them would do this...
More than one thing wasn't right here.
Being taken to McDonalds on a date should have made her suspicious.
Now if he took her to Dunkin Donuts, it would have been more convincing.

Bingo!
You can not make this stuff up!
The way the article reads, she was following him to his place reluctantly, when she decided to pull into the McDonalds instead. He followed her there, a scuffle occurred and he then left. That's when she called the police. They arrested him at his home. It doesn't say where the date originated.
Sorry, I should have read the entire article.
There’s a weird group of serial killers connected to men who want to have the authority of police officers. This guy should be checked out - maybe there’s sheds with children in his back yard.
No problemo...
Read the article? The ENTIRE ARTICLE? Are you insane, man???!!!

she was suspicious of the guy and pulled into mcdonalds to wait for the real cops. not sure where their date actually took place. maybe he was more of a Sizzler kind of guy.
You should be more aware of the rules. Nobody on FR reads the whole article before commenting.
