Every single health department, civil defense group, and law enforcement organization has quarantine plans in place for ‘worst case scenarios’ like the 1918 pandemic. Nothing notorious here, you always plan for the worst.

People read way too much into this stuff.

No proposed power taken by the government is any more righteous than its worst possible abuse. We are not talking about active and contagious TB here.

Freepers always howl when MSM outlets like the NY Slimes lead with an outrageous headline and then bury the context deep in the article. But that is exactly what WND did here. WND is a disgrace of a media outfit, IMO.

For some strange reason I had always thought a quarantine would be in-home since most facilities would not be able to handle a mass pandemic type event.

I think, if this happens, a lot more people will die unnecessarily.
