I watched live on WILX-TV (Lansing, MI) when the weather guy (name escapes me. Andy something) told the news-anchorette, “I can personally guarantee you at least six inches tonight.”
And it snowed that night, too.
Heh, Leno had something like that in one of his collections of amusing newspaper headlines. From a Montana newspaper, it read: “Helena gets seven inches during the night”.
