There Is Only ONE Reason To Oppose Obama's KennedyCare
8/31/2009

It is a fact that that 90% of Americans have some kind of health care. We can conclude that it is affordable, because those that have it are affording it. It may be expensive, but it is expensive because the quality dictates the price. Price may be higher because there are only a few companies that provide it, but there is hardly a monopoly [like our utilities are]. The only reason that government should stay out of health care is because of the fact that 90% have it without government involvement. For an industry to reach 90% of the population is incredible. I cannot think of another industry that touches 90% of the population. Government is certainly not one of the industries that provides that kind of coverage. Government taking over the health care industry will actually lessen the percentage of the population that is "trully covered in an affordable way"

It’s illegal according to the constitution and I wouldn’t care if there were a monopoly, as long as they prices are cool.

The worst reason of all is to pass this monstrosity as a “momument to Teddy”.

Put up a statue, like the one of Saddam Hussein was in the Paradise Square in Baghdad. If memory serves, it was largely the efforts of the Iraqi people themselves that pulled it off the base and dragged it to the ground, once it was loosened at the bottom.

A physical statue is so much easier to remove than a badly-cobbled statute on the books.

One Democrat asked another which Kennedy will replaced Teddy? The other said we will cross that bridge soon.

“One Democrat asked another which Kennedy will replaced Teddy? The other said we will cross that bridge soon.”

Massachusetts citizens may well need outside help in preserving their right to choose their Senate representation.

Wouldn't matter if no one had it.

The only reason to reject this bill is that the Congress has no jurisdiction in the area of health care.

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
