Here is video of Greta Van Susteren tonight reporting on the "Tea Party Express" that launched in Sacramento today and will move across the country. The "Tea Party Express" will visit 30 cites and will end up in Washington, D.C. on September 12.
Griff Jenkins reports with the Express from Reno, Nevada, which was stop number two today. He reports the "star" of this movement is the people, and said it is clearly a true grassroots movement.
Greta then talked with Mark Williams, leader of the Tea Party Express Movement. He said they will take a 7,000 mile route to get to Washington, D.C. All the details can be found at Tea Party Express.org. . . . . (Watch Video)

How many people showed up in Reno today?
Anyone out there have the schedule for the Tea Party Express? It was literally everywhere and now I can’t find it. A lot of sites are shut down when I googled them.

That’s true. But the organizers are trying to keep it from becoming politicized. They want to emphasize the grassroots nature of the movement. That’s why there are no real big names on the program and why it’s not being pushed by conservative talk radio all that much.
I’ll be there. Any idea about how many are expected on Saturday?

I dunno, at this time. Rather doubtful, tho as I have a
doctor’s appt. at 9 and then off to the four letter word

event over in Irving.
Forgot to mention that. Just started last Friday. :)
As of Thursday afternoon, there were approximately 40K registered. I’m sure there are many more who will show up on the 12th without bothering to register, but we still need to get the word out. The majority of conservative, patriotic people to whom I mention it, hadn’t yet heard about it.
