Don’t let Obie and the Emanuel brothers find out about this...
Total b.s.
Ummmmmm, those are famous last words, if I ever heard 'em.
This from the Sun. That’s only slightly more credible than Weekly World News.
36 years old?
A cat that old would be really tough.
I know this seems odd, but perhaps this cat substantiates some of the research being done that shows that mice can live much longer if they are on a reduced calorie diet.
I’m acquainted with a horse that lived to be 46. Seems unbelievable, but the age of a Thoroughbred horse can be easily substantiated because a code number indicating the year of its birth is tattooed on its upper lip, and the information can be confirmed through the Jockey Club. And this horse did not even die of old age, but had to be humanely destroyed after it broke its leg trying to jump a brook.
Tizzie was found dumped in a bag on a railway line by two girls in 1973 -- and 36 years later she is still going strong.Okay, no Leslie Uggams jokes please.
The black area doesn't go beneath the cat's right eye in the picture from 1973. The story is baloney.
We had “Poo Kitty” for 24 years. She was a runt, so we really don’t know how old she was when we took her from harms way. She was a grown cat, not a kitten when we took her home to keep the neighbor at our business location from continuing to shoot her with a BB gun.
Most of the cats we have last between 15 and 18 years. We thought “Poo” was quite exceptional.
You better be drinking a lot of that water, just to be safe.

I have a fella named CrookedTail who is colored very similarly, and he’s nineteen and still climbing trees. The crooks in his tail are a birth/spinal defect, according to the vet. Old Crook has learned a lot of words in his lifetime. HIs afvorite is still milk, and he tries to say it when the fridge opens and he sees the gallon milk jug. That meow, stretched out with emphasis on the middle sound and a sort of gutteral stop at the end instead of the “w” says milk. It even registers with his younger buddy, GooseCat, who comes running when Crook says milk.
Don’t know if it’s true or not. It could be possible.
As for being the same cat in both pictures; probably not; however, my last cat was a torteshell siamese. I bought her at 6 weeks and had her until she died at 19 years. I can swear that some cats do change colors throughout their lives especially torts. Eloise looked like a seal point with only the colored points and white body at 6 weeks; but as she aged; she became the most beautiful color combination of seal point, white and red. I am not aware if this happens with other cats. Same thing with my other tort.
