What`s the worst thing Mark Kirk has done on behalf on Illinoisans?

Aug 26, 2009

By Dr. Eric Wallace, Ph.D.

Was it his vote against the ban on partial birth abortion, a hideous and medically unnecessary act recognized as gruesome and inhumane by all but the most determined pro-death adherents?

Was it his opposition to making it a federal crime to transport a minor across state lines for the purpose of obtaining an abortion in circumvention of state law?

Or, was it his vote against the Pence Amendment, which would have prohibited federal tax dollars from funding Planned Parenthood?

Was it the “Global Warming National Energy Tax” he voted for (one of only eight Republicans) that will result in skyrocketing energy costs and the loss of millions of American jobs?

Or that he opposed the Federal Marriage Amendment (H.J.Res. 88 – 2006)?

Maybe, it was his vote for the inclusion of “gender identity” in the Federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act (HR 3685 – 2007)--or in the recent so-called “Hate Crimes” legislation (HR1913 -2009)?

Or better yet, is it that Kirk is seen as an advocate for and ally of the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and trans-gendered (GLBT) special interest groups?

Or maybe, it's because Kirk is anti-2nd amendment?

Let me be clear, all of these actions are terrible - out and out disasters for which Mark Kirk will one day have to account.

But I don’t think any of them account for the worst thing Kirk has done.

I think the worst thing he’s done is to declare war on the Republican platform.

It is Kirk’s liberal bent and clear rejection of our values and principles that make me tremble for the future of our land.

Kirk rejects the very principles that make our country great and our codified in our constitution and reflected in the LIFT principles:

*** Limited Government

*** Individual Freedom and Responsibility

*** Free Enterprise

*** Traditional Values

In direct contrast to the L.I.F.T. principles, Kirk and his liberal allies in Congress are spending us into bankruptcy, socializing entire industries, and attacking the values that are the very bedrock of our country.

The truth is, he and his extreme liberal friends of the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and trans-gendered (GLBT) and pro-abortion groups have positioned themselves to promote a very different vision for America.

--> I see an America where Limited government and low taxes are in accord with our constitution.

--> Mark Kirk and his liberal allies see an America that is taxed based on controversial “global warming” (cap and trade).

--> I see an America where life is cherished and marriage is honored.

--> Mark Kirk and his liberal allies see an America where partial-birth abortion is legal and gay marriage is the law of the land.

--> I see an America whose citizens pray with conviction for the future of our country and for the protection of our homes.

--> Kirk and his liberal allies see an America where our individual rights are eroded and it is a crime to own a gun—loss of second amendment rights.

Enough is enough. It is time for the conservatives—Republicans, Independents and even conservative Democrats—to stand up for what we say we believe. We cannot allow Mark Kirk, who does not share our core beliefs or principles represent us in the US Senate

Edmund Burke once said, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”

It’s time for good men and women to stand up. The time is now!

Make no mistake, Mark Kirk and liberal Republicans are going to do whatever they can to win this seat.

Likewise, there will certainly be others who don’t want a strong conservative Christian Republican like me in the Senate to fight against the liberal agenda. But with your support, I plan on going to Washington D. C. to serve as your next United States Senator taking the LIFT principles and my conservative values with me.

It seems Congressman Kirk has been heavily into damage control the past couple of weeks after the cap-n-trade fallout, and is bringing in some big name national "Republican leaders" and pretending he opposes Obamacare to get gullible conservatives to support his Senate campaign. I urge freepers please look at his track record over the last decade if you think we're going to get anything good out of Mark Kirk. He is a proven socialist and backstabber who will say anything to get GOP votes and then turn around and rubber stamp Obama's agenda.

As I reminder, Kirk DOES have conservative primary challengers in this campaign, and here's a little reference piece from the guy I'm supporting for the U.S. Senate.

Here we are, some new ammo about Congressman Kirk you can give to any conservative friends who are buying the media's "Kirk is a social moderate and a fiscal conservative, the only kind of Republican who can win" propaganda.

Remember, friends don't let friends vote socialist.

There's plenty more where that came from. Just go into the FR search box and type in "Markkirktruthfile" to see just how bad the media's favorite "moderate" from Illinois is.

Wallace is indeed the candidate I'm backing (he seems to be the strongest of the “anti-Kirk” challengers), and you can donate online to him here:

https://www.fundraisingbynet.net/fbn/contributeFederal.asp?guidRegistration=5D5F5C57

If you'd prefer to send a check via snail mail, his campaign address is:

Wallace for Illinois
P.O. Box 2281
Matteson, IL 60443

Thanks for the inquiry. :-)
