MILWAUKEE - Anheuser-Busch InBev is dropping its "Fan Cans" promotions from communities around the country where colleges, including Boise State University, have complained that the effort - which sells cans of Bud Light in school colors - promotes underage drinking and infringes on trademarks.
The cans have no college logos, names or other identifiers - just 27 color combinations.

“The UT (Texas) cans were the wrong orange.”
Maybe the distributor was an Aggie.
” Bud Light is horrid swill.”
When I was in college, we slummed by drinking Milwaukee’s Best!!
I think the Burnt Orange color is trademarked.
Saw some of these cans at a party. Definitely NOT burnt orange.
Funny you should mention that...
My brother gives me grief for buying 6 packs of some of the New Belgium beers I like to purchase. (I’d feel a lot less conflicted if the guys at New Belgium weren’t damn dirty hippies, but that’s a topic for another thread.)
Anyway, I’ve actually had conversations with my brother that went like this:
B: “Where’d you go?”
Me: “Went to get some beer (in this case I think it was Fat Tire).”
B: “Why don’t you get some real beer like Bud or Bud Light?”
Me: “Bud Light is for high school kids. I like to think I’ve grown up a little since then.”
B: “I like a good American beer!”
Me: “This is made in America.”
B: “But it’s that foo-foo sissy kind of beer that only homos drink.”
Me: “But my beer tastes better.”
(didn’t have much to say after that.)
“But its that foo-foo sissy kind of beer that only homos drink.
LOL. Did you ask about how he knew that?
Alcohol Delivery System.
I look at it (along with Coors Light) as being as cheap as bottled water (24 cans for 14 bucks here in Indy) and more refreshing.
Especially when cooled to just above the slush point.
Bud Light is swill anyway. I would rather drink mule urine!
