The thing about AVG and other “freeware” AV programs is that unless you have purchased the full version it will not remove viruses/spyware/adware. Not taking away from them, because I use AVG, but your normal user will not be comfortable working with the registry.

What? All my free programs do, Avast is great, Windows Defender is great, Malwarebytes antimalware is great, SUPER antispyware is great, spyware blaster is great, when I used to use spybot and ad-aware they were great.

All the free programs that I have ever known remove viruses/spyware/adware.
