Unless he has a good guest on, it’s very boring if you’ve listened to it for any length of time. He just repeats the same thing over and over when he’s on by himself. I don’t think he’s the sharpest knife in the drawer.

No no no, you forget that he occassionally has callers... that are used as a diving board to the same rant the last four callers got. ;o)
By the way, if I don’t want to listen to just crappy music, the only choice up against him is Dave Ramsey and I can’t stand that either.

He’s not quick on his feet.....and too, too insistent on being slave to political correctness, to the point of it being a chastity belt. The guy is constitutionally incapable of playing hardball, and his well-worn limited reportoire ain’t cutting it. Total milktoast lightweight, but a decent and likeable man.
On the contrary - he's certainly smart enough to know that advertising works (as evidenced by the way he helps sell conservative books). For many people, they need to hear the same thing over and over till they're willing to 'buy'. It's good to have someone who targets those folks - after all, companies wouldn't spend billions on advertising if it didn't work...
