Kennedy Cortege Live Thread

I'm watching Fox, awaiting the passing of the Kennedy bier from Hyannis to Boston.Lots of curious things, like guys wandering around the Compound in shorts and flip flops.
Fox's Molly Lines (a NE hottie) said the hearse will pass many locations that had large roles in the Senator's life. Curiously, no mention of narrow bridges.
Pls join in as the hearse makes it's travels to down town Boston

I heard that Denmark had the most redheads per capita.
Maybe I should go to see if that’s true. ;)

Two comments:
1) Adam Clymer. The "Clymer" on Fox. Puke.
2) The female anchor keeps referring to the vehicle as "the hearst," like William Randolph was hiding in there somewhere.

Hehe! From what I understand.....there are only 3% of redheads in the world. We’re pretty scarce. ;-)

The gawkers are NOT what we saw during the Reagan processions....no flags, no salutes, no hands over hearts......just curiosity seekers.

Was there ever a spectacle like this put on for another Senator?
The trademark “Myth of Camelot” lives on, in the minds of small-minded journalists.

Thank God he wasn’t cremated. He would have burned for a week.

There are some, ahem, who I shall say see becoming a redhead as ‘better living thru chemistry.’

Well......I’ll just say...I’m at an age, now, that, ahem, I need a ‘little more help’ than when I was younger. ;-)

Well...since this IS a Kennedy thread...I shan’t go too far off topic when I note that in MY Irish, Catholic family, premature gray starts occuring in High School. I was 13 or so when I first noticed the gray strands...and I launched a full out chemical assault from that point forward :)
Very fair skinned, so dying the gray black (natural color) was too harsh; blonde made me too washed out...even paler; so I settled in the ‘reds.’
Chemists of the world...I <3 you!!!

Since I am still at work...what is going on w/the funeral procession. Alot of prominent Dems seeking camera time? Did Barry and Shelli show up?
