I'm posting this because I want you all to see what kind of RINO garbage we have on our side. Sarah busted her ass for this guy, got him elected, now he is distancing himself from her

News 12 at six o'clock, August 26, 2009

AUGUSTA,Ga---Dozens gathered at the Augusta Museum of History for a chamber of commerce forum on health care reform with Senator Saxby Chambliss. Chambliss attempted to set the record straight on what he calls misinformation.

"Say goodbye," said Susan Swanson who is fed up with Washington lawmakers. "Kick out the bums. Kick them all out."

She fears talk of health care reform.

"My concern is all this talk about death panels," said Susan. "All the bureaucracy that people have to go through."

The death panel rumors were given credence by Sarah Palin who campaigned with Georgia Senator Saxby Chambliss in Augusta back in November. Chambliss is looking to distance himself from Palin on his latest trip to Augusta.

"I don't agree with her that there will be death panels created by any of the plans that are out there," said Chambliss.

Susan doesn't know who to believe.

"It's not Washington," said Susan. "I don't believe Washington."

"I commend the president for spending political capital to bring this issue to the forefront," said Chambliss. "We've talked about reforming health care for years, but we've never gotten around to it."

Chambliss reached across the aisle as Senator Ted Kennedy, a champion for health care reform, loses his battle to cancer.

"The Senate is a family," said Chambliss. "We are all good friends within the Senate, and Senator Kennedy was a great legislator."

But nice gestures won't ease Susan's concerns about Washington.

"We're not going to give up our freedom of good health care to make them happy," said Susan.

Senator Chambliss says he would like to see the government provide tax credits. He says he could not support the current house bill that would pay for reform by possibly taxing the rich.

Ungrateful RINO POS

First, Gov. Palin helps Chambliss.

Then:

"Chambliss takes on Palin, commends Obama on health care reform"

They must be taking a different oath these days.

This is why the GOP is the way it is. Too many gutless cowards there who love crossing that aisle and being butt buddies with the Dems. Absolutely disgusting, they will throw Sarah under the bus for wanting to HELP them but will embrace liberal Dems who want to destroy this country. I posted this on Sarah’s facebook page, I hope she sees it, but she is probably aware of what Saxby said. First he adored her, now he says she is wrong. What a schmuck!

Saxby, the Senate is a family. And the Republicans are the red-headed stepchildren. Only you dumbasses never realize it, making nice when you're in the majority party which results in you becoming the minority party. Which you excel at, btw.

Saxby, if you truly are a family in the Senate then it is time to call the cops for child abuse for all the spankings the Democrats have put on you the past year.

This is exactly why Sarah is staying the hell away from the GOP. No wonder, she helps them out, they turn around and stab her in the back. He considered Ted Kennedy and others in the senate “Family” how about the woman who busted her ass for him and got him elected, this is the thanks she gets. I remember many months ago people were getting on her case for not going to GOP events, gee I wonder why she didn’t go..perhaps because she knows they all trash talk her behind her back

I find too often anymore that the GOP does not represent my interests and prefers too often the electorate are idiots game played by the power mad Democrats.

I live in a Republican closed primary state and that is the sole reason I haven’t told the GOP to take a hike and changed to undeclared.

"Members of opposing parties in the US senate and House shouldn't be anything like "family" or "close friends."

That's our biggest problem.. Spineless Republicans who want to have the RATS love them. They cave every time, while the RATS fight dirty. The RATS couldn't care less if they are liked or not. They have an agenda & will do anything to get their own way.

Chambliss was also a supporter of Shamnesty until the heat got so bad he was in danger of losing his seat. He then changed his mind long enough to get reelected.

I did the original anti-Max Cleland ads which helped put Sax over the top, and the left skewered me for years over them. Now he pulls this crap? Just sick over it.

The great Senator Jesse Helms was often called a “minority of one” for his tough stands in the Senate. Of course Helms just held fast to his convictions instead of Washington routines. Every Republican Senator, especially the Southerners, should have been standing with Helms but most squished if the critics threatened to call them “strident and uncompromising”.

Who is closest to Helms today? None of them in talented procedure or in backbone.
