Sad news...the dilemma for Nancy Grace, Greta, and Larry King tonight will be something else.

I'm so sorry he passed away the same day as Kennedy.

Dominick deserved more than a mere mention of his death. Among other things, he was a gifted sleuth and a rare gentleman..

He'll be greatly missed.

It’s ironic that he dies today. Dunne saw his family as Kennedy-like — wealthy Irish Catholic New Englanders with Ivy League and Hollywood connections, and eventually, something like a family curse. The Dunnes avoided Kennedy-like
scandals, though. There was a falling out with the Kennedys when Dunne covered the Martha Moxley and William Kennedy Smith cases.

A strange thing happened in my home today. I have a litle statue that is Uncle Sam who holds our American flag, he has been there for at least 10 years , he resides way up , too high to touch. He fell off the wall today, I heard the crash but did not see it, When he hit the floor and I found him, his leg was broken off..but...but..the hook holding him on the wall is still up there perfectly intact.

I do not know what to make of this.

Why did my Uncle Sam fall off the wall? I hope it was due to the idiotic things people were saying to praise teddy..but I just dont know.

Regardless ... it was weird.

Out on the west (left) coast, the standing joke about Clinton* was that he was the kind of social climber who would drive a Mercedes with bald tires.

Same type of thing.

Don't know what to make of it...yet.

And I don't know what to make of Ted Kennedy and Dominic Dunne passing away on the same day with all the praise and glory going to Ted.

When in fact, Dominic Dunne "fought in the Battle of the Bulge in World War II and received a Bronze Star for saving the life of a wounded comrade".

I'd rather have seen a real hero buried in Arlington.

Check out “A Season In Purgatory”, a fictional tale about the goings on in a powerful Irish-American political dynasty. RIP Dominick!

I hate to hear this as I really liked Dominick Dunne. I loved his coverage of the OJ trial, he became a staunch supporter of the Goldmans. God bless you, Dominick. Rest in peace.
