I enjoyed Netflix for a few months, then found I had seen all the movies I wanted to so I stopped.

Just rejoined the other day so that I can watch some of the great British shows..."Prime Suspect", "Forsyte Saga", "Midsomer Murders", "Inspector Morse"...there are even a few cable dramas that are worth watching.

I recommend the British series Foyle's War, The Last Detective and the Inspector Lynley Mysteries. A lot of hours of enjoyment there and Foyle's War has some interesting additional material about what was happening in England during the war.

You could also try a few off the top of my head.

The Sandbaggers: MI-5 during the Carter administration.

Danger! UXB: Aerial bomb disposal during the London Blitz.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy: The greatest adaptation of any John LeCarre novel! Alec Guiness was made to play George Smiley. Superb supporting cast.

Jack.
