Top Ten Reasons Brett Favre Came Out of Retirement (Again) - Video

Here is video of a David Letterman "Top Ten Reasons Why Brett Favre Came Out of Retirement." This, of course, has to do with the decision of Brett Favre to sign with the Minnesota Vikings, after retiring from football - how many times?

Favre's continuing saga has become something of a soap opera, and makes you long for the days when a Quarterback wanted to go out at the top of his game, like Roger Staubach did in 1979, and would have never considered playing for the archrival of the team he spent almost his entire career with - just for a fat contract. Unfortunately, I guess those days are gone. . . . . . (Watch Video)

Couldn’t care.

Had respect for him once.

He is a drama queen of the worst sort.

Brett Favre is an adult and can do as he pleases. Who am I, or anyone else for that matter, to tell him he should retire? He’ll realize that for himself when some monstrous D-End flattens him. The money’s not bad either and no one forced the Vikings to give it to him.

What saddens me the most is to see how his actions have alienated the entire state of Wisconsin. Two years ago, people were literally crying at what they thought was Brett’s last game in Lambeau. Today, nobody will give him the time of day.

Brett forgot that Packers fans are Packers fans first, not Brett Favre fans.

Wonder what the audience was smoking? None of those got so much as a chuckle from me. And Conan is just as bad.

That is sad but that’s the nature of professional sports. As the saying goes, professional sports is like professional sex: there’s no love involved, and it’s all about the money!

Oops on the previous post. For some reason, I still had the link to Obama Jedi Mind Trick on the clipboard. Oh, well... maybe that has something to do with Favre not retiring.
