I'm not a pilot, but I understand the "duck waddle" to avoid a ground loop. If, and again, IF I could afford an aircraft, I'd need to consider cost, and fuel cost might change my mind. I'd need to stay as cheap as I could without getting stupid. I'd want something that could operate out of about 750 feet. I've got a 1240ft by 50 ft landing strip, way out in the middle of nowhere, and on top of a hill. But I'd want to build a hanger before I got the aircraft, and then I'd need to get my license before I bought an aircraft. If I went experimental, I'd seriously look at a
Zenith Ch 801, simply because I believe I'd like to fly slow and low to see the country side. But again, I'm NOT a pilot. Other interest might be a Mooney Midget, but it's not practical.
