It ain't my plane. I'd be looking for a C-205 or a C-206, or a Republic SeaBee, if I had the cash.

Yeah you have to like smelly oily leaky noisy radial engines a lot.... I also have a lot of time in 205-6's...two normally aspirated and one turbo...really nice modern airplanes if you are into that sort of thing. It's funny you also like Seabee's....now THAT is something rare and different..!

I think it's a usable aircraft that's sturdy and forgiving in water landings and takeoffs.

The fuelburn is a little high, but it's got room for five people, and anyone can work on a cessna 205, or 206, and they can also carry 1,000 lbs usable load. All can operate out of 1,000 ft strip.
