Can you go inside the airport and ask the pilot? Most pilots love to talk shop...

Not sure. Definitely mid 1930’s to late 1940’s vintage.

Don't know the model but it looks vintage. Absence of tail markings is peculiar though.

It’s loud, a tail dragger and it has two engines - I think it’s Sky King!

Any idea what this is, guys?
I don’t think it’s as old as earlier posters suggest, but could be all wet!
Twin Beech?

I think it's this one. I thought I recognized it from the old "Sky King" TV series from the 1950's.

Definitely a Cessna Bobcat, or T-50, the original Songbird for Sky King.

I agree with John123. Go ask them. The airport manager will probably know what it is and who owns it, should you care to meet the owner for a closer look at the plane.

Well if you had posted a picture on FR instead of a link to youtube I could probably tell you. But I can’t get video on my Blackberry, so I’ll hazard a guess...if it’s a biplane whose lower wing is forward of the upper, has retractable gear, an enclosed cabin, a radial engine and a big ol’ chromed spinner cap on the prop it can only be a Beechcraft Staggerwing, which would fit the era and was one of the most beautiful airplanes ever built.

I’m not sure what it is other than I wouldn’t want to be in it on a hot day at low altitude.

The tail fin (stabilizer) shape is often the clue, manufacturers often kept very similar shapes on different aircraft in those days.
Having said that, I’ve no clue on this one :)

Cessna T-50 (”Bobcat” or “Bamboo Bomber”) without a doubt. And yes, this was Sky King’s plane, though I think it became a Cessna 310 later in the series.
