This is perhaps man's greatest achievement or evidence of our civilization's impending doom. Maybe it's both.
Meet the KFC "double down." Although no mention of it is made on KFC.com and we have never seen an ad for it ourselves, we are being lead to believe that it is real by Foodgeekery.com. They have crappy cell phone camera footage of a commercial (from Omaha, apparently) for the mysterious beast, as well as photographic evidence of it in the wild.
The sandwich consists of two fried chicken fillets wrapped around bacon, cheese and Colonel's sauce. It apparently tastes like you think it would. An early-adopter explains:
That's it? That is the sandwich? That's not worth five dollars. Oh
oh my God. That is the best thing ever. I don't know what "Colonel's Sauce" is, but it is like a party in my mouth. This is completely worth the five dollars. Unfortunately I'm going to end up weighing 700 lbs after this, but it is simply amazing.

Maple Bacon from Vermont -— ah yes!
This summer I took a can of Spam with us camping. My kids had a breakfast of spam and eggs and they really liked the Spam until their mom told them that Obama likes Spam too. The kids didn't want any more Spam.
Mmmmmmmmmmm
This is exactly what God makes when he gets bored making Manna..........

That looks pretty awesome, but it would be even awesomer if the bread was made out of bacon as well, or better yet, chicken fried bacon for the bread, and pig candy for the bacon. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm baconny. :)
“Here’s Bubs, try some bread heels and bacon grease....”
There’s a whole-lotta munchin going on over there!!
Thought you would appreciate that.
I think the Colonel’s sauce is a fancy spiced basic white sauce so there is a good many carbs in the flour so be aware of that. :)
If you used a blender and a large bore hypo needle, you could just shoot it [with a Twinkie chaser] right into your arteries and get it over with.
