Police: Wanted reality TV star found dead

Jenkins was accused of killing ex-wife before fleeing to Canada

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - A reality show contestant wanted for murder in the gruesome death and mutilation of his ex-wife was found dead Sunday of an apparent suicide after hanging himself in a secluded Canadian motel, authorities said.

Sgt. Duncan Pound of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police border integrity unit says police responded to a call about a dead person in Hope, east of Vancouver, and then called investigators who were part of the massive manhunt for Jenkins.

The real estate developer and investor was wanted in California on first-degree murder charges after the mutilated body of his ex-wife was found in a trash bin in Buena Park, about 20 miles (32 kilometers) southeast of Los Angeles.

Now we won't need to be lectured by idiot liberals up north (and yes I know all of y'all up in Canada don't fall into that category) about how "evil" the death penalty is and how we cannot impose it on our criminals who sneak into Canada and are then extradited back to the USA.

That's the truth, isn't it? The majority of reality tv stars go on to pain and heartache. The first family that allowed a camera into their homes, the Loud family, remember them? It was a groundbreaking show on PBS...the AMERICAN FAMILY. A upper middle class family started off good and then it all came falling down...the son came out of the closet on TV..(Which was scandalous in the 1970's) and the couple ended up getting divorced.

Why anyone would allow cameras into their homes boggles my mind.

I actually have a friend who signed up for a TVland reality show. She said she had no idea how bad it was going to be and now she wants out and it's hard.
