I sure didn't, but the sister in law of a close friend hung herself in her bathroom by suspension, and my friend had to do a lot of the dirty work of cleaning up their house (post-police investigation) and she explained it to me- the suspension method seems to involve a long struggle as opposed to the quick neck snap.

I've read that most people featured on reality shows later regret having been on the show, with one exception: The Amazing Race. Apparently, the typical reaction is "I wanna do it again!".
