PACOIMA -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 26 year old Pacoima woman who has been missing since Wednesday.
Robin Sanderson was last seen at her grandmother's home in the 11000 block of Cayuga Avenue in Pacoima early Wednesday morning.
She left a door to the house wide open, music playing on her computer and her cell phone behind, according to her mother and Los Angeles police.
Sanderson, who may be in a depressed state, hasn't spoken to her family since then. Family members said it was uncharacteristic of her to be out of touch for so long.
Relatives said she left home with an acoustic guitar and her brown, 3 month old pit bull mix puppy.
Sanderson was living in Pacoima temporarily. She had been a Pasadena resident and was waiting to hear about a new apartment coming available in Pasadena -- another reason her find her abrupt departure worrisome.
Sanderson is biracial -- white and black -- and about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 175 pounds.
She has a gold nose ring and was last seen wearing a blue tank top, tan shorts and tan shoes. She was carrying a light yellow blanket and an orange bag.
The puppy's name is Luulei and she has white markings on the tip of her nose and some of her paws.
Anyone with information on Sanderson's whereabouts was asked to call the LAPD at (213) 485-5381 or (877) LAPD-24-7.
I'm glad I grew up in a gentler environment.
