Sounds more like the LA Times's lazy, ethically-challenged blogger Elizabeth Snead just had to come up with something quick to write about in order to justify her paycheck, and contriving a contention out of thin air which no one would be able to prove one way or the other seemed like a cheap & easy way for her to score a phony hit on eeeeeevil conservatives.
And the people working at this rag wonder why they're on the ropes financially?
If you'd like to write about 'outrage', Ms. Snead, how about interviewing your fellow employees who are about to lose their livelihoods because of the professional incomptence to which you & your colleagues routinely subject the reading public.
