Seems some people are actually outraged, outraged that First Lady Michelle Obama dared to bare so much leg by wearing shorts on a recent trip to the sweltering Grand Canyon.
OMG. First she wears a sleeveless dress, now this?
But think about this for a minute. What should she have worn to the Grand Canyon? A tweed pantsuit? A ballgown? What do you wear on your summer vacation?

I still have my briefs in a wedgie over how Obama’s oldest daughter dressed on her official vacation to Europe with Dad and the whole Obama possee. What was with the locks, peace camie, cut-offs and sandles...and accompanied by what I guess was a secret service man dressed like a knock-off 50Cent dude.
If it were the Bush girls they would have been called and disgrace to the USA and been on the front page of every supermarket tabloid.
Just goes to show you money can't buy you decency and respect for your Country!

However, I am taken aback that someone switched her suitcase with a homeless person.
Come on. Color and fit matter.

I always swear not to wear short shorts any more. But it’s been near or over 100 degrees all summer. I’m back in short shorts. But, as far as I know, nobody’s taking my picture.
Or a casual summer dress. Or comfortable flats. I’m not angry - she can wear what she wants. But she looks extremely unprofessional. She is not a woman going on vacation. She is 24/7, the First Lady of the United States, the new Jackie O, going on vacation. She should dress accordingly. She looks like she’s been traveling in a station wagon with no air conditioning for 10 hours.
the First Family is on vacation every other week and getting paid with and using our tax dollars to travel the country.

I’m just not concerned with what she wore to site-see. I don’t disagree that she’s classless. I guess based on that, I don’t assume her to wear more appropriate clothing.

SHE HAS WIGS
I wear shorter shorts around all summer, except for work and church, obviously. We don’t have A/C in the house so even an 80 degree day can seem like hell on earth especially when I’m making dinner with the oven on.
The outrage is that she is held up at the next Jackie O......and here she is dressed to garden on the farm when it is a photo op vacation day for the first family. She could wear some capri pants and a sleeveless tank top and look lovely.....instead she always gets it wrong. There are cameras everywhere they go in public. If she wants to dress like this fine, just quit with the fashion icon baloney. It is not believable. I see better dressed women at my local Sam’s Club shopping for bargains.
