Seems some people are actually outraged, outraged that First Lady Michelle Obama dared to bare so much leg by wearing shorts on a recent trip to the sweltering Grand Canyon.
OMG. First she wears a sleeveless dress, now this?
But think about this for a minute. What should she have worn to the Grand Canyon? A tweed pantsuit? A ballgown? What do you wear on your summer vacation?

no, the problem is that she is wearing to the grand canyon the same kind of clothes she’d wear to see the Queen of England.
How much time does she actually have to spend out in the elements? She travels via Air Force One, limos, tricked out SUV’s which have fine AC I am sure. THis aggravates me to no end. It isn’t where she is or what she is doing it is the fact that SHE IS THE FIRST LADY AND SHOULD ACT LIKE ONE!!!!!
Reading many of the responses to this article, it seems the author is right that her shorts are causing outrage.
She’s on vacation, hiking in 100 degree heat. A pant suit is not going to cut it. I’m hardly concerned with what she’s wearing while hiking the Grand Canyon.
I’m more concerned that the First Family is on vacation every other week and getting paid with and using our tax dollars to travel the country.

Exactly! It just proves that class can't be bought. You are either taught or you are not. I say Michelle doesn't care! And she certainly isn't teaching her children respect or class.

This is the first family for goodness sake. They got driven to their spots, in their A/C limos to take pictures. They didn’t even have to hike from the parking lot like the rest of us.

I don’t believe the vacation home they rented was $20,000 a week though....probably more like $5,000 tops.
Among other things, she needs a good bra.
This woman is not exactly pretty or graceful, but she could look okay if she tried.

Big legs. And look at her arms. They’re so long.
I don’t care if she wears shorts. If she wants to look even worse that she usually does, go for it. She is not an attractive man...oops, I mean woman. You’re right, she has no calves. Also, all of those photo’s released are touched up. I’ve seen WH released photos where they gave her calves. Her kids legs have no calves either.
You do know other family members went with them, however no photos of them were allowed to be released. We would have never known it if the park ranger hadn’t conveniently let it slip out.
It has nothing to do with her wearing shorts. It’s her wearing an outfit that is suitable for Saturday errands to Wal-Mart and yard work on a semi-offical First Family trip which she knew would be widely photographed.
Still fail to see why her wearing shorts on her vacation is a big deal.
I’m pretty sure that every First Lady has worn casual clothes. Only difference is that they don’t attract the same attention as Michelle does so we see a lot more of her.
I can think of 500 other things more important than what Michelle decided to wear today.
LOL! I knew you would find that one. She is enormous. I swear she looks like a man and Odumbo looks like a girl.
