Vanity: Who is your Favorite Freeper?
self
Posted on 08/17/2009 6:10:52 PM PDT by Jean S
A thread with this title was posted about 10 years ago. The top choices were JohnHuang2 and kattracks (who sadly died of cancer a couple of years ago).
My current favorites are governsleastgovernsbest for posting his great commentaries from newsbusters here (this is NOT an ad). I also like RobinMasters, he finds great articles to post. Also, kudos to Cindy for her relentless research. And of course, Jim Robinson who makes this all possible.
This thread is dedicated to kattracks, a true friend of FR. May she rest in peace.

I dont know. Maybe we should have a competition, to see who can give wagglebee a bigger headache. I guess you want me to start being mean to you like I am with the trolls?

I have been trying to avoid the Catholic vs. non-Catholic threads lately, most of the time I’m successful. But this thread reminded me how much I enjoyed bumping heads with biblewonk.

Not if you want that cheesecake. I've been waiting on the cheesecake for almost three years!

Jeepers, already I find I have to further flesh out my A-List. Sigh....
SPIRITED IRISH for outstanding contributions on topics of enormous interest to me personally; e.g., gnosticism, monism, "second" or alternative realities.
QUIX and GODGUNSGUTS awesomely brilliant and effective at what they do, each in his respective way; notwithstanding I do not agree with either of them on each and every point. :^) But they are lovely, and we get along fine.
And that makes ten. :^)

I'm simply delighted to make your "Favorite Philosophers" list, along with my dearest sister in Christ, Alamo-Girl!
I'm delighted to find myself in association with her on your list, and on xzins's, too, who sees us as being a "team."
A-G is a gift from God. We have worked together on so many wonderful projects over many years now, and it's all been pure joy to me.
Thank you so very much, dear P-Marlowe, for your kind regard.

Favorite Calvinists to restore to Free Republic: Orthodox PresbyterianDrSteveJX, I'm really happy to see you say that about DrSteveJ. IIRC that wasn't always your position. Good for you.
And oh, how I miss Orthodox Presbyterian. And GeorgeW.Bush and Wrigley, too.
Funny thing about DrSteve - he was a four-point dispensationalist Calvinist - actually closer to some of your beliefs than mine.
