The Whole Paycheck CEO is not a liberal, or at least not a moonbat liberal.

When WF got rid of their live lobster tank moonbats cheered for the rights of the sea bugs, but the CEO explained that it was one of the least profitable operations in terms of overall profit, and profit per square foot, and cost in-cost out. They still sell frozen lobster products.

He said at the time (paraphrasing) that he used to use a liberal/socialist economic model but he realized he’d never have more than a few stores, so he went Western Capitalist and his business boomed. One aspect of that business is marketing toward moonbat liberals, who flock in and spend $25 a pound for “organic” eggplant or $30 for mushrooms you find free in the woods.

I shop there now, I hope the boycott spreads so the clientèle will improve and prices might come down a bit.

I have no doubt that he's every bit as liberal as you'd expect a Whole Foods CEO to be.

HOWEVER.... he's also in business, and is very successful at it. And he seems to have a clear idea of what works and does not work. He's got a very realistic view of what are the actual causes of high medical costs; and also of what Government cannot accomplish.

I highly recommend the WSJ Opinion Piece he wrote, that spurred these little hissy fits.

I’d be there routinely if we had a Whole Foods near me. I started out with organic potatoes locally and noticed a big difference in taste.
