Lately we have not heard much about Obamas secret civillian military force. Does anyone know if it has been started yet and how far along it is?
I ask because I have a remote location to go to in case of a breakdown of civilization, military occupation, or any other uncivil emergency. The trick is to get out before occupation is implemented and routes out population centers are shut down. I believe that when Obamas SS is complete will be a pretty good clue.
Another thread talks about survival kits. While I have this stuff in order, does anyone know of a complete kit to purchase with everything needed to survive anything.
One other question. What are some drugs to get that for treatment of biological, chemical, or nuclear attack. I know that there is Cipero for Anthrax, but what other drugs do I need to have? Such as anti radiation drugs and some other things I may not have thought of. Also how can I get them?

If I didn't have a wife and kids I would probably do what you would do.
Safety 1st, organized resistance next. And, dead people have no freedom.

You guys seem to have a problem with me, did I offend you in some way?
TheArizona
I see your point. But, I am the wife and I will be right beside my husband and 13-yr old son.
I remember Lexington and Concord, we won’t be alone.
Offend? No.
Amuse? Yes.
If it’s a SECRET civilian force, what makes you think we’d hear anything about it? In all seriousness, you need to take a chill pill - remote location and all.
It sure doesn't look like he's trying to do anything but whittle them down in Afghanystain, and the Pockies have a big knife.
I have long contended that the real reason The Usurper has gone back on his promise of bringing them home is that he wants to keep the battle hardened troops out of the way if (when) CWII breaks out.
How about you?
What does the map represent, Professor?
Not at all. Assuming we are all like minded people on this forum, why would someone make light of a fellow Freeper’s question. As conservatives, we get enough crap from other people who are not so like minded. Is it really necessary to make fun of a someones question. I mean really, if it is so silly why would you bother responding to it. I was always taught that if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
Really, what is so amusing about my posting?
TheArizona
I never said I was amused. And I don’t assume we’re all like minded.
If your feelings are hurt by what I’ve posted to you, your too thin skinned to last long here.
“You wont have your Cadillac health plan so you better stock up on antibiotics, n00b.”
When someone is called a noob, it is usually derrogatory. I'm just curious as to why you would resort to using negative sarcasm and derrogatory name calling to someone. What warranted such a response?
Its not like I came on here and said Romney or McCain in 2012.
Perhaps you are correct and we are not like minded. Lesson learned. It certainly doesn't explain your negative tone.

It’s a map put out by that hateful group, the Southern Poverty Law Center, listing their numbers of right-wing (militia) hate groups by states in the U.S.
It would be more helpful if they included names and addresses.
I gotta form a club!!
I am familiar with these turds. They seem to exult in the 3rd definition of poverty, per the American Heritage Dictionary: Unproductiveness; infertility. (OK, I know their female constituents are not “infertile”.)
Just another bunch of college educated poverty/race/socialist pimps.
Vy do you ask, mmmmmmm? And vere are your PAPERS?

Never assume we are all “like minded”. The predominant political philosophy on this site is conservatism. The shades of conservatism represented by the people on this site are myriad.
Sarcasm, acidic wit, and playful joshing are de rigeur here. The comment about the “hugh and series” vanity (self-written, not posted from a new source) questions reflects the longstanding bias against such posting. They are tolerated, and sometimes can be very informative. But they are not the bread-and-butter, so to speak, of the site or the posters hereon.
In between the tongue-in-cheek and sometimes more darkly presented humor one will find a wealth of information from a community more diverse than is generally understood. The factual knowledge base held by Freepers is phenominal - although one should alwys “Trust, but verify” for oneself.
One last thought: If you have to ask “what is so amusing about my posting” when someone snickers, perhaps you might need to reflect on why that snickering matters to you. Especially on a sarcasm-heavy board such as FreeRepublic.
