I remember, as a little kid, listening to Vin broadcasting Brooklyn Dodgers games from Ebbets Field on NYC Channel 9. Man, he’s been around a long time. One of the best.

I hope he doesn't retire. He is the best. I wish the Dodgers would go back to the TV/radio simulcast for the first three & last three innings. Charlie Steiner is terrible. He spends more time bellyaching about how long a game the game/road trip is & how he wants to get to the bus or hotel.

The other day I tuned in to the game on the radio, but had to switch over to KNX to find out the score. They gave the score before Steiner did on the actual broadcast.

Same with Eric Collins, the TV announcer on the east-coast broadcasts. He & Lyons talk about anything other than the game they are broadcasting.
