Now that the people of the United States have broken down an ethnic barrier and elected Barack Hussein Obama as the first Afro-Arab-American President (1) perhaps it is time to look for a more conventional American as the next President. Of course Mr. Obama is an African-American but he is Afro-Arab recalling that some 48% of the African continent is Islamic (462 million people) and about a dozen African countries have ethnic Arab majorities and many more with sizable Arab minority population; Kenya for instance

You are out of yer mind.
he was ambivalent about Obama and almost endorsed him tepidly..just shy of what Powell did...I saw the interviews with my own lying eyes
he’s a second rate politician and horrible speaker whose main claim to fame is his skin color and the rarity of quasiconservatives of that melanin level
i can’t speak for the rest of this forum but I am way done over race picks...Steele anyone?
it’s a joke and just shows how weak we have become when even conservatives play this insane game
man...this guy sure stepped in it didn’t he?
A Sooner? Ugh.
OK, let's talk.
Did JC Watts support 0bama?
Yes or No.
If yes then forget it!!!
if zero was really dark, he would never been elected....maybe we are a racist nation, but the fact that they put out this light skinned biracial mobster tells me they knew a dark guy would never make it...."they" being whoever is behind this zero..the mob...the Jewish mob...????.
a person of substance, high character, honesty....????nah....we don't go for those....
I have to agree with you. He should stick to being a minister.
but that's the last break blacks get...they can say they voted for a black guy and he made it, and now I would expect a little more intellectual honesty on their part....
I don’t agree entirely with your view. While I think it may take more time before a black runs again, I think that no matter who runs in future, the background will be given more vetting. There was a ton of info out there on 0bama and most of us here tried to warn others who this guy is but they did not listen. I hope to high heaven they learned and that understand they need to get beyond the D or the R and look closely at the person, what he/she stands for, what has been written by his or her own hand and said ( bet there will be lots of youtube) and that a great deal of attention will be paid to those with whom the candidate associates. Had the media ( apart from FOX) done this, rather than being the shills for this disaster in office, perahps we would not be in the position we find ourselves. The one bright lining is at last people are waking up and the people in Congress are getting a long overdue earful that they work of US and are using OUR money and WE pay their salaries...and we are NOT going to take lip from them..the high horses they have sat their big rumps upon have been made lame.
He could walk on glass in a fire and I would not trust him again. To vote for 0bama just because of skin color when he knew his policies and goals for the nation were wrong is not something I can overlook.
I don't, and I am black.
“Catholics voted for Kennedy only because he was Catholic, and I am sure almost all Mormons backed Mitt because of his religion....”
Totally different.
Catholics and Mormons voted for someone with the same believes and principles in life as they themselves. Colin Powell and JC Watts on the other hand, voted for Zero, who stands AGAINST everything that Republicans stand for, just because Zero was black. That is simply unconscionable. It's racist. Pure and simple.
Exactly, thank you!
Voting based on belief systems is one thing.
Voting based solely on a very specific genetic trait that is completely out of the realm of anyone's control is ludicrous. It takes no thought. It takes no decisiveness. It takes no moral compass.
Now look where we are.
Watts supported Obama.
Yup! Now we have a Marxist hell bent on gov’t control of everything.
You have got to be joking!
He couldn’t run for Governor of Oklahoma. I am not going to repost some things I have already posted because suffice it to say he will never for President if he has too much baggage to run for OK Governor.
If you didn’t approve of Sanford, he cannot hold a candle to JC and I like JC but for the sake of his family he needs to stay out of politics.
would you give me a break for voting for a white drawly southerner like myself if he were a socialist race baiter over a black conservative say from Boston or Providence just because the white good old boy was my "identity"?
are blacks ever held accountable for anything?
lol...man are you ever naive
I doubt that if the candidate fits the media's objective like Hussein did. They knew everything...maybe more....than we did and they knew it earlier and they not only didn't report it, they suppressed it. They haven't. They are doing the same thing about cap and trade and healthcare.
He doesnt have the horsepower. Nice guy though.
I wish you were wrong, but I’m afraid you may be right.
During the campaign, I told people that if Obama won, he would have to be the best president we’ve ever had or no blacks would be elected to the Oval Office for a long time.
