Yes they are - total hypocrites!
They howl and yell when prolife people want to outlaw abortions because it puts the government in the place of making a decision that should be left to doctor and patient (they say).
Yet, they see NO PROBLEM with the “end of life counseling” being mandated and controlled by government rules and even end of life measures being mandated by the government bureaucracrats running this program!
The media ARE doing their job, and it certainly doesn't include reporting anything that would cast doubt on Zero's agenda (i.e. anything true).
I hope this has been sent to Drudge, Rush, Hannity, BOR, etc...
Whew, that's a relief! This girl desperately needs someone to teach her how fragile are civil rights and the importance of having enough compassion for your neighbors that you don't put them in the hands of a tyrannical, totalitarian government! I'm glad her mom took advantage of this teachable moment. [ Need I really put "/sarcasm" ]

The most insufferable moment of the “town-hall” meeting was when 13-year-old Julia Hall from Malden, Mass., read a question from a card about seeing “a lot of signs outside saying mean things about reform in health care.” Pundit Michelle Malkin dubbed young Julia a “kiddie human shield.” It’s a sad commentary on the health care debate that the president has to resort to this kind of stunt to attempt to insulate his plan from criticism.

If she was REALLY interested in what is going on in Congress and about her future she’d be asking President Obama why he is spending trillions of dollars her generation has yet to even earn and be taxed on.

Also, as strange as it may sound, Helen Thomas gave the White House Spokesman a lot of flak recently because of the way the White House was cherry picking the 'random audience'. She didn't seem to like it at all. I wonder what she thinks about this? It would be interesting to see her give the White House some more flak for this instance as well. (not that I actually expect that to happen).

I'm amazed at you people who call for openness and transparency and—”
Gibbs: “Helen, you haven't even heard the questions.”
Reid: “It doesn't matter. It's the process.”
Thomas: “You have left open—”
Reid: “Even if there's a tough question, it's a question coming from somebody who was invited or was screened, or the question was screened.”
Thomas: “It's shocking. It's really shocking.”
Gibbs: “Chip, let's have this discussion at the conclusion of the town hall meeting. How about that?”
Reid: “Okay.”
Gibbs: “I think—“
Thomas: “No, no, no, we're having it now--”
Gibbs: “Well, I'd be happy to have it now.”
Thomas: “It's a pattern.”
Gibbs: “Which question did you object to at the town hall meeting, Helen?”

Gibbs: “What's a pattern?”

Gibbs: “How so? Is there any evidence currently going on that I'm controlling the press--poorly, I might add.”

Gibbs: “How so?”

Thomas: “How so? By calling reporters the night before to tell them they're going to be called on. That is shocking.”
