Tonight's panel took a look at the disruptions at various 'town hall' meetings. Mort and Charles both through the blame at Rush Limbaugh and said he was responsible for the yelling matches at these events.
What a total lack of understanding! None of the 'disruptions' occurred until Obama called on SEIU to HIT BACK HARDER!
It doesn't take a genius to realize that the source of the problems is SEIU and their thuggery.
I really believe Charles needs to wander outside of the I95 and see what is really happening.

I think they could have made that point, which I agree with to an extent, without dismissing the town hall people out of hand and not mentioning the absolute frustration of all these people who are being ignored by their senators and representatives. That’s what these guys don’t understand. That people are sick of not being taken seriously, sick of being ignored, sick of being treated like crap, sick of their congress critters not reading bills etc etc. Like a local rep here in SC saying people should turn off Glenn Beck because he’s “marketing fear” and is “negative” but the guy is talking out of his butt because he really has no clue what Glenn beck talks about. As the guy on Beck’s show stated:
“STU: In all seriousness though, doesn’t this make a larger point? This is the same problem we have with these people when they are voting on bills without reading them. This guy’s got no idea what he’s talking about and he’s out there trying to convince the people of something that he admits he’s only heard a couple of times.”

I seriously doubt that Rush Limbaugh stirs up those guys ~ they don't like nor listen to him Fur Shur. Let me go one step further, for either Mort or Krauthammer to come to this conclusion they'd have to be pretty much into terminal senility.

The public took the media to task in 1968 for the way the “journalists” sides with those disrupting the 1968 DNC convention inside the hall (Eugene McCarthy’s supporters) and those outside. They overplayed their hand.
Even Cronkite had to do a mea culpa at the time for lashing out at the way convention hall security and Daley’s police force reacted.
The problem lies squarely in Obama’s lap!
Rush has nothing to be blamed for!
The only thing worse is when Sarah Palin’s name comes up. Dr. K is always the first to say she needs to “brush up on her foreign affairs knowledge”.....i.e. she needs to get smart!

I didn’t hear the Krauthamer thing but I’ve feared that the anti-Obamacare croud has gotten too emotional. The anti-Obamacare’s main weapon must be the bill itself. Excerpts from the bill must be used in the arguments.
Charles desperately needs a vacation.
Perhaps he can join the Obamas at Martha’s Vineyard.
What people should do is print out snippets of the bill and hand them out at shopping centers lol
More like the elites know what is best for the rest of us. All that right-left stuff is to confuse the sheeple so they don't figure out who wants to run our lives.
I saw this panel discussion and also was hugely disappointed in Charles Krauthammer’s comments. He said that the Dems would be more likely with these Town Hall disruptions to WIN the battle when they get back to Congress and blame it on the Disruptors! The Mobsters being “paid” or “organized” by the Insurance companies or Rush or whoever they are blaming.
He claimed the Town Hall attendees were not behaving in a civil manner and they had derailed the attention that WAS going to healthcare reform (the horrnedous Dem bill) over to the Town Hallers - a mistake (he claims).
The point as I see if of these Town Hall “mobs” is that Congress is NOT LISTENING to us out here in flyover country and would not listen at these meetings.
I am all for having a civil discussion. But that is NOT what these Dem Congress people want to have. They want propaganda meetings only - and Charles Krauthammer should know that!
