I visited this place back in the mid 80s. He's done a lot of work there. The physical grounds are pretty big.

The locals do not like him. They think he should hire local workers for his 'dream' and give them steady work.
What they don't want to understand is that he's paying for this with his own money. Because he inherited a lot of local land and leases it out they think he very rich....He is not.
Its his dream. He reminds me of Don Quixote in some ways. But no Sancho.
