I quite agree. I have, well, many many years with mine and know to how cope with it (if not always successfully, the landscape is improving for all I get slammed from time to time). CFIDS I don't know...

And therein lies the gift.
I would not trade my illness for someone else’s “gift” because I know I am not equipped to handle it. God gives to us those things we are most able to deal with because He also gives us the means to deal. That is His promise.
Just remember, sion, He gave you friends and sometimes, those friends are healing. Also remember that when one of us (like ME!) tells you to “use cinnamon” it’s not “me” speaking to you.
From your symptoms, I can only tell you what I know.
