To: Paved Paradise
Fashion-wise, I hate it; primarily for the bottom. I agree with the poster who thinks it looks like dredlocks. I love the top portion though. Philosophically, however, I love the uniqueness of it. The sheep are just adorable too.

I found the top a little bit underdone -- would have preferred maybe just a little tighter corseting or stays underneath the crochetwork, and a little tiny bit closer crochetwork to accentuate the contrast between the wild naturalness of the skirt and the marks of civilization up top -- but she does look comfortable. What I love about the skirt is the texture. I'm sure she fell in love with the springy feeling of this long-haired wool early on, and on many levels identifies with the ewes in their natural femininity.

It's kind of a Freudian statement: a lady above the waist, a natural animal below! LOL! Sort of like a lady faun....
